Recreative Apparel’s online strategy and website.
R A is a unique athleisure company that manufactures fashion products from recycled plastic bottles. They commissioned my team to design an online strategy and a responsive website.

R A’s mission is to create beautiful sports/casual clothes while helping clean the environment. Our goal was to translate the company’s ethos into a unique shopping experience. The key to our strategy was to find the main differentiators with its competitors and tell the brand’s story through that lens.
We started with the basic premise of transforming plastic bottles into a pair of leggings. Then we focused on satellite topics, like the fact that it is locally made in Vancouver, sustainably manufactured, and with an emphasis on empowering women. To create loyalty ties with new customers, we needed them to empathize with R A’s story. Telling the company’s story in an appealing way became the cornerstone of the brand’s identity.
